Theres this painting i bought with a saying that doesnt show much.?

I don't think that these sayings mean anything at all. You know how on a tee shirt there are often phrases which sound nice but don't make sense, I think that this is the case here. The words may be a stream of thought that the artist wanted to put down, and maybe he was grieving a long lost friend. If the images in this painting are nice, I think you should just enjoy them and not bother too much about what the words mean; you are never going to know.
