What is the likelihood that I will be approved for a loan?

As much as I love Yahoo Answers, your best bet is to simply go to the bank who would most likely give you a loan and ask them. Why? Because they want your business, and they are willing to answer your questions! Here's my suggestion from previous experience involving ANY credit questions or even college-related questions: go into the bank and see one of the people at the side desks (not the tellers) and ask who you should speak with that handles student loans. I don't recommend calling as you might be ped around for hours. You don't have to apply for a loan on the spot, just get the real facts from people who have gotten loans approved for your situation.
