For the last 3-4 years my life has crumbled apart. It all began when I was 13. My dog died & I was depressed for about 6 months. Also right now i'm trying to save up 5,000 bucks for braces. I hate my teeth. I have low self steem b/c of it. I'm the quiet depressed dude at school. Why am i not losing fat?

I exercise about 4-6 days a week; weight training (about 10-12 reps of everything), then cardio for about 40 minutes or more. One day a week, I play tennis for an hour. As far as eating goes, i eat balanced, natural meals every day, (1200-1300 calories a day) although i was maybe 3 days out of the 7 weeks i have been trying to lose weight, by eating a piece of cake on each of these days. I have been in a few situations where I haven't been able to make many healthy choices, but i always do the best i can. I eat maybe two raisonette's a day now cause my mom forces me to eat them, and i have one piece of this chocolate that has 30 calories a day. But, i'm not losing fat. Like, after 7 weeks, I hardly see a difference. I figured out like 3 weeks ago that I wasn't losing weight because i was eating too many nuts, but I count my calories now, but i'm still not seeing any difference. My stomach still looks flabby, as well as my arms, and legs. I haven't even gone down any clothes sizes, and i have no idea what i could be doing wrong. Hi there. I've been shaving my arms for years. A few weeks ago, I used a cheap razor that I wasn't used to and sliced off a chunk of my skin on my forearm. So I smoked some artificial weed called H-7, this isn't my first time smoking this weed and usually when I do smoke it, it's not a lot, and with H-7 it seems like there are like different "stages" each time, first when you smoke it, you zone out, you just focus a lot and you don't pay attention to what is going on around you, for what seems like hours this only takes place for a couple of minutes, then the laughter begins, everything is funny to you, and you just randomly say stupid things and each time they seem funny to you, again this last only a couple of minutes, then the last stage is you focus again but you calm down and are much more tired, and is aware of what's going on....now what happened to me is, when i smoke H-7 it's very hard to explain but when i walk during the second stage "laughter", it feels as if a wave starts from my feet all the way to my arms and i start waving my hands, walking in zig zags, I realize i'm doing this but i can't control my arms or legs...what happened that really scared me was, i fell down without even realizing it, and i couldn't focus and i couldn't control anything, as if my body was taking over and all i could control was my eyes...every time i moved it felt like a large wave was going through my body and i kept seeing multiples of my hands and legs, i couldn't get up at all, and i was freaking out and very scared..like I said U realized what was going on, and i kept telling myself, "you're high, really high get control it's okay", but every time i moved it....it just wasn't right and i was really scared, I even told my friend who was with me for help and i meant it.eventually i got up and was fine but it seemed like i never was going to get out of the scary moment that was happening.....is this normal, did i get to high? or was something actually wrong?

Possible problem with dealership?

I have a 2007 Suzuki Reno that has 33,000 miles on the car. Recently it has been stalling and setting codes P0601, P2105, P2106. According to a local mechanic, this can only be solved by replacing the ECM due to the P0601. Due to the emission warranty still being in effect, I was told to take it to a dealer to have the warranty work completed. I have called the main corporate line and informed them of the situation. My problem is the fact that the closest dealer is 114 miles away. I contacted them and have an appointment set for tomorrow but I have a feeling I am being set up. They told me the diagnostics would have to be run first (as if having a local mechanics word wasent enough). But I am afraid that I will be told that the ECM will need to be ordered and I will be stranded. I asked them to reschedule so that an ECM could be on hand but they refused until the diagnostic was taken care of first. This sets up a red flag that I am about to be ambushed. Any suggestions?

I can't think of ANY white water rafting place that WOULDN'T have you sign a liability waiver. Since you were still going on rapids then they have no fault. Now had something been wrong with the raft itself and it sunk after you started going in then you may have something that the waiver wouldn't cover. Since the injury occurred doing what you intended to do(maybe you didn't intend to go over such rapids, but you intended to go over rapids) it is covered. The other thing I question was was anyone else injured? No one else being hurt would excuse them ever more.

Will you probation be violated if you catch another charge?

A friend of mine is on probation for drug and firearm charges. He did 4 1/2 years in prison for these charges and upon his release from prison they put him on 5 years supervised probation. He just got out of prison in September of last year. Last month he was driving a friends car because she was too intoxicated to drive herself. He was simply going to drop her and the car off and take a taxi back home. He was not intoxicated or under the influence of any drugs at the time of operating his friends vehicle. The female whom which the car belongs to, had beat up an informant earlier that day and the police department was already looking for her vehicle. She also has 2 lbs of marijuana under the driver seat of the car. The police pulled them over. My friend had no idea of the earlier incident with the informant and had no knowledge of the drugs in the car. When the police pulled them over while he was driving, they charged him with possession of CDS (marijuana) with intent to distribute. They have also added an after prior conviction in to this charge. My question is, will the state automatically violate his probation or is there a way he can fight this charge since he had no knowledge of the situation? I need advice. Is he looking at going back to prison? Please help. Thank you.

Basic help with programming my first iPad/Android app?

If you want to program on iOS you need to do it in ObjectiveC (Apples own language) if you want to program on Android you need to learn Java... Either way your best bet is to get started mastering one language without trying to make an "app" right away. The hardest part for some people is understanding logic. Just like in any language you need to become familiar with the "Grammer" and stylings. Its not hard, if you put your mind to it you could get a language down pretty good in a couple weeks. It may take a month or two before you can build an amazing app, but it will be worth it! How long until my piercing heal?

I got my ears pierced when I was younger, but I wasn't allows to wear earrings in school, so the holes closed up. This morning, my friend reopened the holes. I know then when the piercing is done the first time, you have to wait 6-9 weeks before changing earrings. Do I have to wait that long or, since they were reopened, can I just wait a couple of weeks?

ok im 16 and even though i don't look overweight i am, and it's not like im delusional i really am when i step on the scale. My weight is distributed evenly all over my body so im "thick". So yea, i've been eating right and exercising for a really long time trying to lose the weight so i've decided to refrain from eating for 7 days (I'll still drink throughout the day) and then i've decided i'll become a vegetarian after wards. I was having a great day, and have been doing good for a while. Somebody said a really derogatory comment to me, and normally I don't have an issue with what people say, but since that comment I have been getting these intense headaches, after not really thinking about what was said. These are like piercing headaches. Partly it may have to do with the amount I have eaten today, or spending a lot of time working in doors when it is hot, but I really think the comment affected me. I have some body image issues, because as I grew my chest expanded, creating gynecomastia, and I am in pretty good natural shape otherwise. I still have girlfriends and what not, and this guy made a comment that was negative about girls maybe feeling depressed after sleeping with me, which did not make me feel good. Another time he casually said something asking if I wanted reduction. I mean, maybe it is good that he exposes me to the negativity, but it doesn't really feel good. I am thinking about seeing a professional on the campus here. Also, I am a professional student now going to study medicine, and do not have a lot of friends anymore, they have all moved away, but the past few years have been amazing, going out several times per week when exam time wasn't going on. What would be some good things to do to better myself? Maybe surgery for my body and more friends? Seeing a psychologist? I feel like some depression was triggered, I am definitely not for sure though because I do not have a degree or training in the field.

Whenever I'm around family or friends for long periods of time and have to leave then I get very upset as well. I guess my personality is that sort where I get attached to people easily. It sucks when you leave them because the memories you've made keep popping up in your head and you just miss them so much it hurts. So what's the cure? The way I deal with it is by not dealing with it at all. I know that doesn't make sense but it will after a while. Miss them as much as you can, think about all the fun things you did, cry if you have to. Find router IP address?

When I was at school last semester my dorm didn't have wireless internet, but also didn't allow use of your own router. To get around this I set up my router as a wireless switch, not giving out IP addresses just distributing the wifi signal. In doing this I had to change the IP address. While moving back home I must have misplaced where I wrote down this IP address and have no idea how to find it. Period every two weeks?

Im 16 and for two years i've had my period every two weeks but for the first week i would get it for 7 days then the second would only last for 4 days?(they are very light) A year ago i went to the dr and got tested to see if i was anemic. Fortunately they said I wasn't anemic. But it has yet to regulate im going to the dr.'s on monday to DEMAND for a gyno to get it regulated. Ok, my husband came home on Leave over Thanksgiving and now he is back in Iraq. Why can't I get over this guy?

I'm usually very good at getting over guys but I just can't get over him. It has literally been over a year. Hissing sound, no brake fluid, brake drops to floor help!?

I'm having brake troubles. I noticed a hissing sound coming from the brake pedal a day or so ago. Then I noticed that when I put pressure on the brake pedal (to stop obviously) the pedal drops to the floor. The car eventually comes to a stop but takes a long distance and time and is really scary. Got home ok and checked the brake fluid and there wasn't any in there. My mechanic two weeks ago said my fluid was low so he filled it for me. What could be going on here? Bruise the size of a golf ball on the outer side of my thigh, but I have no idea how I got it?

I sometimes get bruises on my legs and arms because I am a clumsy person naturally, but I woke up 2 days ago with a huge bruise on my leg, I actually only noticed it because it was so swollen, and still is a little actually. Its about the size of a golf ball and I have no Idea where it came from. I imagine to have swelling and a black and red bruise you would have really had to hit it good and I didn't, it wasn't there the night before and I didn't hit anything. should I be worried? I've heard that if you get big bruises and you don't know where they came from you could have a medical condition of some sort, or could I just be beating myself up at night? I thought maybe I was sleep walking but my parents said they didn't see me and I checked the height of everything in my room and none are the right height.

In the country in which I live, they seem to generally prefer natural births. I had a Ceserean with my daughter, because she was breach, and I was knocked out cold for that. But with my son, I gave birth to him with no help at all, except for my husband and the staff who were great! My labour started about 1.30am, but I had had him by 6.50am, so it wasn't that long, but it was bloody painful at the time!

California Apartment Lease?

We currently have a lease in Chico Ca for an apartment that expires in Sept. I had to move to Reno, NV for a job. My wife and daughter are currently still in Ca., but planned to move here (Reno) in June. How to drive from the Bay Area to Herlong Ca without going thru the mountains?

I want to plana drive to the Herlong Federal prison from the bay area. I do not like driving thru mountains, and want to limit it as much as possible. I understand the straightest route is highway 80 to US-395 towards Susanville (4.5hrs). That way is like going to Reno, and I knmow the mountains going thru Reno, but I really don't like them anymore. Google maps also shows 2 other options 1. is to take I-80 to highway -20 which goes to Yuba City, then gets back on I-80 asnd you still go thru the same mountains for Truckee and Reno. The last way is I-80 to 20, and staying on 20 all the way. This way bypes Reno and Truckee. It takes about 45 minutes more. This appears to be the only alternative to the mountains on the way thru Truckee.Does anyone know if there's other mountains on this route? If I casn avoid them saltogeth, I dont mind driving longer. But, I am familiar with the route to reno, so I don't know if it's best to go the way I know. Any and all suggestions will help. And is there any lodging in Herlong near the prison. My family goes, and they stay in Reno. I don't wanna stray in a hotel thats still 30 miles away from my destination. Thank You

Okay, so this may seem a little stupid and off hand, but the other day my boyfriend called me up on the fact that I don't use his name in spoken sentences when I am speaking to him. It kind of caught me off guard because I wasn't aware of this...it just seemed second nature to me because growing up I never heard my parents use each others names, so to me this is normal. But, in the whole it seems to annoy him as he seems to think I am not being overly personal. Life after death.......?

I know that this question gets asked a lot but trust me i have a reason to ask...so i was watching that show "Through the wormhole" the other night and it's topic was whether or not there was life after death...before i make my claim i just wanted to say that i don't believe in either an afterlife or a cease of existence, because i truly would rather live my life than worry about that..I'm just a very open minded person... while i was watching the show they (one of the scientists) was explaining something that just didn't really sound right to me..he said that the consciousness is located in the brain and that the only reason people have NDEs is because of the lack of oxygen in the brain, which in turns creates these hallucinations that people "mistake" as a glimpse of death...well they say the brain can only survive for 5 minutes after the heart stops before the brain dies too..but i saw this one interview with a woman who had survived a heart attack and her brain had been starved of oxygen for well over 5 min and she had still survived..the doctors said she wasn't supposed to come back because her brain had been gone for so long..so do you think this was just some type of luck or does it actually hint to an afterlife? and my other thought was how the scientists say that NDEs are all the same which explains why they can't be real...wait a minute here. if people were all having "hallucinations", well then wouldn't they all be different? because NDEs usually report the same things happening in most cases, surely that doesn't mean that everyone's brains is perceiving the same exact hallucination as the other..they must all be the same for some reason..i guess you can look at it either way, of course. I'm no neuroscientist, believe me. so if anyone can (scientifically) dispute my claims I'd be more than happy to hear because I'm just a really curious person thats all...sometimes i just like to yze things and what not..well thanks in advance :)

My skin got sliced off?

Hi there. I've been shaving my arms for years. A few weeks ago, I used a cheap razor that I wasn't used to and sliced off a chunk of my skin on my forearm. It bled for very long and was white at first. I'm really saddened about it because I have very tanned skin and it's still pink and fresh looking after 3 weeks. I have been covering it and applying mederma, aloe vera and neosporin to it a few times a day. My question is, How should I expect the scarring to look after this summer (a few months)? I had a similar thing happen to my leg the very first time I shaved, but that was 7 years ago. I can still see the scar, but it's the same color as my skin so It doesn't bother me. However, the area of my arm that was sliced is thicker skin and exposed to the sun more frequently. Is there anything else I should be doing at this point? When can I tattoo over it?

Can I make a dealership buy back my car?

I bought a 2006 Mustang a year ago from a used car dealership here in Reno NV. At the time everything was great. Everything was in line with the contract and the bank. Come a year later when it was time to register the car again; a smog was required. The car was 'rejected.' Four times. I had a feeling it had something to due to a possible custom tuning to the vehicle computer, which I did not do. Hence it was done prior to me buying the car. I took it to a local performance shop and sure enough, there is a custom tune on the car making the car be rejected at a smog check. With this custom tune there is no way it would have ped smog legitimately. Like I said before, when I bought the car everything was in line including the required smog check, which I now believe was falsified. Would this false smog constitute as "false representation" giving me the right to have the dealership buy back the car?

Dirt versus sand riding, what is more fun on a dirt bike?

I have been riding dirt bikes for 5 years and quads for much longer than that but I have never once ridden in the dirt with a dirt bike. Home reno expenses, where do we start?

We have plans to build an addition on our home (3rd bedroom for 2nd child). We're a little confused as to where to start. Do we approach our mortgage company? Or do we talk to a bank to get a loan? I hear about "refinancing" mortgages, is this likely what we'd need to do to cover the cost of the renos? Do we need quotes first before approaching _anyone_? We're really horrible at this. My husband thinks it's better to talk to our original mortgage broker, but we haven't dealt with her in almost 3 years, and I'm sure she's only involved with obtaining original mortgages for clients. What do we do? Where do we start?
