omg you are way too sprung on this guy and yes i think he planned it because the whole thing sounds very sketch i mean who steps on their cat and falls on their back? wtf. i can already tell you're clingy just by reading this maybe that's why the guys trying to avoid you. you need to learn to not stick to one guy and go out there and meet a couple so if one fails you have more. i know that makes me sound like a hoe but that's how things work. just leave this guy alone and if he likes you or wants to talk to you he will call you back. if not oh well move on!
