Why was Governor Sarah Palin so clueless?

Well,since she quit her job for the people of Alaska she is making millions and millions of dollars. She's not very smart but she is smart enough to realize to get the money while a few people still think she has what it takes. Her poll numbers go down every week so she is in free-fall. Right now she is doing her National Bus Tour so she can suck every dollar out of every idiot who mistakenly thinks she is Presidential Material. She is now filthy rich.
