A friend told me the best way to store your fruit or vegetables after you've chopped or cut them to keep them fresh is to store them in a container that is filled with water. I can't find that stated anywhere online and wasn't sure if that was just an idea they thought of or if it was fact. Would it be a good idea or a bad idea to store your chopped veggies and/or fruit in the refrigerator in containers full of water?
