HELP! well i gave my long tailed lizard like 6 meal worms/wax worms while i was on vacation?

AND NOW THEY TURNED INTO BEETLES !!! i know i wasn't supposed 2 leave them in but i just need 2 know can the3 beetles hurt my lizard or will my lizard eat them??? cause I'm really worried and i don't want the beetles eating him ( there's like 5 beetles)
