Am I acting like a baby if I cried?

I'm in middle school. I was sitting on a chair in school, and a kid came up and was jokingly trying to push me out of my seat. He ended up flipping the chair, and I slammed my head/eye into the corner of a desk. It hurt A LOT. I wasn't crying out loud or anything, but a lot of tears did come to my eyes; it's not as if I could prevent it. The next day one of my friends called me a baby for crying. Was I being a baby or not?
