ATTENTION RENO NEVADA RESIDENTS! please help?

ok well my question is has anyone ever been arrested at the Reno DMV office for outstanding traffic tickets. My boyfriend has like three tickets that he never showed up to court for because we moved to california. Now we moved back to reno and he got a job but he needs a valid ID, because the one he has is expired. So my question is if anyone really knows if he will get arrested if he goes in to the DMV for a ID renewal. By the way he will be paying his tickets with his new job. thanks for your help.
